• Question: What is it like getting to work with lasers,mirrors and lenses all day long?

      It’s great! Lasers are really high energy beams of light, so you can clearly see them being reflected off mirrors and changed by lenses, and you can do a lot of cool things with them. You do have to be careful though, health and safety in the lab is really important. I have to make sure to wear the correct safety goggles to protect my eyes from the laser as it’s really bright, and also to wear a lab safety coat in order to protect my skin from the laser, and also any chemicals I’m using.
