I mainly make two types of holograms, called reflection and transmission holograms. Reflection holograms are the type you see on passports and credit cards. They usually are of some object, are one colour and they look 3D.

The other type of holograms I make are called transmission holograms, which are a bit different. With a transmission hologram, it has a rainbow effect so it looks like a range of colours. Also you can make transmission holograms in such a way that when you shine a light beam like a laser pointer on them, they split the light up into lots of different smallers beams, which can be used for lots of things!
