These days technology is developing so fast, that I think in the future there could certainly be robots that can tell us this information!Lasers are used all the time in machines called spectrometers which give us information about what different materials are made of. So I think lasers could definitely be used to tell us about the type of grass and how healthy it is, so that we know the cows are getting the best grass for their growth. I think it would be really helpful in a country like Ireland where dairy farming is so important.
