• Question: can the lasers you work with damage a living organism

      Sadly yes, the laser I use can cut and melt metal so they would have no bother in damaging skin, bone muscle, if the laser did hit your arm it could take a layer or two of skin off, similar to getting cut, but you would be ok. Now this is different when it comes to your eyes, our eyes are very sensitive and could be damaged easily with a laser and this is why we must take a lot of safety precautions! the labs are designed in a way that keeps the laser at a safe height away form eyes, and when in the labs we weare special goggles which block out the laser light so if we ever had an accident and the laser went towards our eyes the goggles would block it out, you can see a set of these goggles in my profile picture I am wearing some
