When you make a hologram of an object, it’s kind of like taking a photograph, except that unlike a photograph which is 2D, the hologram is 3D. So when you look at the hologram of the object, you can see it from different sides, and if it’s a really good hologram, it’s looks as realistic as the real object! Making a hologram is similar to taking a photograph. You need to shine light onto the object, but instead of using normal light, you use laser light. You then save the light which is reflected off the object in a film, like with a photo. Hope that makes sense!
