It’s hard to imagine how their could be life on Earth without light! Light is necessary for plants and trees to grow, which produce the oxygen we need to breathe. Also light from the Sun is used to make Energy using solar panels. The light we get from the Sun also keeps the temperature of the Earth up so that it’s nice and warm. If the temperature was very low, probably most of the water on Earth would be frozen! So thankfully we have lots of light, at least for half of the day!
